We have been awarded a Software Development contract in the Hanover, MD area with an IC Agency effort that revolves around delivering capabilities throughout the IC/DoD/Partner communities. Being awarded this new work will allow us to further develop current architectures, engineering solutions, software products, mission services, and operational capabilities for a broad user base that will make a major difference to the operational missions around the globe. The capabilities to be delivered will integrate state-of-the-art processing, correlation, visualization, reporting, mapping, and messaging services to the users. For Jacobs, this is a tremendous opportunity to support this customer base and expand into new technology areas and solution’s for next generation capabilities to the war fighter and other stakeholders.

Diana Thompson, New Product Program Manager

As the Program Manager, Diana works with Jacobs corporate teams and subcontractor partners to transition mission capabilities, recruit and staff the best possible candidates, and building relationships with customer stakeholders to successfully execute the contract and meet mission needs.

Diana holds a BS in Journalism from the University of Kansas (Rock Chalk, Jayhawk!) and uses her communication skills and program management expertise to support multiple contracts for Jacobs that span the Capabilities and Operations directorates with the MPO customer. She was a Project Manager for the initial implementation of the customer’s cloud capabilities as part of ODNI’s IC ITE strategy and continued to support the effort as it transitioned over the years.  Diana has helped define and implement processes to introduce efficiencies in contract execution and leverages lessons learned to build more effective and collaborative teams. She also stood up a team to spearhead a corporate mentorship program for new and mid-level performers pairing them with senior personnel to advise on career guidance specific to our industry.

As a dedicated program manager, Diana believes professionalism and honesty are among the greatest tools in her toolkit. She looks forward to collaborating with peers and teammates, finding solutions to challenges, and succeeding as a team.
